We moved here a year and half ago from Tokyo with our toy poodle Luna and it has been very challenging to find the kind of care and attention we had come to expect with our regular grooming.  We went everywhere in the Princeton area and beyond looking for the right groomer and at last we found it in Kim and her amazing Maui Mobile!  Luna loved her instantly and went from a scruffy hot mess to a classic chic French poodle cut in the calm environment Kim creates in her work space.   Meanwhile I was able to get some work done at home and even give myself a yoga class 🙂

Furthermore, Luna also had an untreated medical issue that Kim compassionately pointed out so that we were able to seek treatment sooner rather than later.

Surprisingly great… My Irish Water Spaniel was pretty matted, and they spent literally two hours (four man hours) dematting him before beginning the grooming process — unlike another groomer, who insisted that shaving off the mats was the only option. They patiently worked through every tightly knitted mat with expertise rare even in the world of professional show dogs, from which my dog is retired. And they charged me only $60 above the normal grooming rate. She came to get me several times to check in about my grooming preferences, and since she was parked right in my driveway, this was very convenient. My dog normally hates being groomed and pulls hard on the leash to get away from the grooming area once he’s finished. But as I was talking to Maui’s groomers afterward, he voluntarily hopped back into the van, grinning. An exceptionally good service and value. Highly recommended. – D Baer (Google)

I recently used Maui Mobile Dog Spa to groom my 3 labs. Kim was punctual and professional. Her van is state-of-the art, clean and very welcoming for pets. She truly loves what she does and it is reflected in the time she spends with each dog. My dogs were initially hesitant but Kim made them feel comfortable with her and by the end of the session the had become best buddies.
